Description

The Oakey Building is an attractive four-story steel frame building that contains approximately 100,625 rentable square feet, for sale or lease. The building was originally built for the IRS in 1989 and therefore has modifications, such as a high-security system, computer room with pressurized floors, fiber optics, and other tenant-related amenities. Interior renovations were done in 2005. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has leased the entire building for the last six years; the lease expires August 1, 2011 and will not be renewed. The building has numerous modifications that were all part of the original GSA lease, such as extra security cameras, combination entries into each office area, a computer room with a back-up generator, and fiber optics. The building includes two passenger elevators, one freight elevator, with loading dock near the freight elevator. Each floor has a men's and women's restroom located off the centrally located elevator lobby. 9+/- foot high ceilings on all floors.
